With effect from 1 January 2025, Sanne van der Salm has been appointed partner at Ekelmans Advocaten. Sanne has been with our firm for 9 years as a lawyer specialising in insurance and liability law. She acts as a fraud specialist for health and non-life insurers in often media-sensitive cases. We are very pleased that Sanne is now part of our partner group.
Sanne heads Ekelmans Advocaten’s fraud practice. With a proven track record, she protects (health) insurers against fraudulent claims and unjustified payouts. In addition, she advises insurers on fraud prevention and an effective approach to fraud management. She also assists insurers in disability and general liability cases.

In addition to her work as a lawyer, Sanne is involved in the development of industry-wide policy and self-regulation around fraud. She is also a lecturer at the professional fraud coordinator training courses required for registration in the Register of Fraud Control Coordinators, provided by insurance industry educational organisations NIBE-SVV and SPV.
